Nearly 5 and a half years ago I was 38 and something was still missing! Busy work life, not so busy social life and the best family but always questions around ‘had I met anyone yet?’ Then along came Lee….we chatted for a LONG time, didn’t meet for a LONG time but once we had as we say the rest is memories made.

Just a little something on how I met my wife to be…so it’s been 5 and a half years since I met Vicki which has changed my world for the best! We’ve made some amazing memories together, crazy holidays and stays away and recently bought our first home together. This is all through one little swipe the right way…. More happy days to come.

Our Story

25th November 2017

HOW WE MET

Our first date was on a Friday and had been postponed twice – third time lucky it was! The one thing that didn’t stop through all our dates was how much we talked even tho our surrounding were not always the best – dubious pubs and a Hawaiian bar to name a few.

SINCE TOGETHER

We waited a while for Vicki to meet the children which was really important to get right. We have had the most memorable weekends away, holidays, days out and family get togethers. After moving in together after 10 months, we then bought our home together. Our dream of having a house big enough to have all the families together at any time came true!

January 2022

GETTING MARRIED

We decided to book the ultimate city break for Vicki’s birthday and the most memorable getaway to….NEW YORK!! Lee then started his preparations for the BIGGEST surprise. On March 21st with a slight change due to the predicted weather Lee got down on one knee at a rooftop hotel overlooking the New York skyline and popped the question! With lots of ‘are you sure?’ A firm YES was said and the celebrations started!

The wait with meeting Dale, Lennon and Mimi was worth it and the following years have been full of days out, holidays, birthdays and lots more of those memories made!

The Anglican Church of the Holy Rood at Ampney Crucis in the Cotswold District of Gloucestershire has Saxon foundations with some of the stonework being Norman. It is a grade I listed building.

Our wedding service will begin at 1.00pm on Friday 22nd September 2023
